Dongli has developed polyester fiber with low dyeing energy co..

The company has developed POLYLOFTNP, a polyester filament that cuts energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, and plans to start selling it in April 2013, according to the nikkei.

Dongli plans to sell 50 tons in the first year and 500 tons in three years.

Polyester fiber is not easy to color, it needs to use disperse dyes under high temperature and high pressure conditions, and in 1995, dongli developed POLYLOFT which can be dyed in normal pressure condition.

The new fibre could reduce the temperature to atmospheric pressure, reduce energy use by about 25 percent and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 25 percent.

In addition, it can be mixed with natural fibers such as wool and cotton, which can be reduced when dyeing with high temperature, and the color is bright, and it is not easy to discolor and fade.
